To be baptized represents that you identify with Christ’s death, burial and resurrection; dying to your flesh and being resurrected as a new creation in Him. Commit your life to serving God through this public demonstration of the change that God has made in your life. Water Baptism takes place quarterly, please sign up on the form below.
What to wear?
Pants or shorts are recommended and we will provide you with T-shirts. Other items are fine as long as the clothes are not revealing when wet. You will be submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. People often have questions regarding baptism: Why be baptized?
Meaning of baptism?
To illustrate Christ´s burial and resurrection- 1 Cor. 15:3-4, “For when you were baptized, you were buried with Christ, and in baptism you were also raised with Christ.” —Col. 2:12). To illustrate new life as a Christian – 2 Cor. 5:17, “By our baptism then, we were buried with Him and shared His death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead…so also we may live a new life!” — Rom. 6:4).
Jesus was baptized that way (“As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water.” — Matt. 3:16) and every Baptism in the water was by immersion. Acts 8:38-39.
Who should be baptize?
Every person who has believed in Christ and the purpose is to publicly confess your personal commitment to Christ
Why should I be baptize?
Because Christ commands it (“Jesus said, ‘Go then, to all people everywhere and make them my disciples, baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and then teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.’” — Matt. 28: 19-20).
